Description

This event is a 45-48 hour long horror-survival event with 24h time-in. This means that the game will not stop throughout the weekend, and all players will sleep in character! You will have time to sleep, but don't expect much or a good nights sleep however :)

Theme will be a modern day horror (year 2000-2015), and little to no costume/equipment will be required making it available to anybody whether you've larped before or not! If you're tough enough ;-) You should wear normal, old but warm clothing that you do not mind getting wrecked. Ensure that you are wearing adequate footwear to protect your feet, keeping in mind that it will be a mixture of woodland and sandy terrain.

Food is included in the price, though please do not expect catered food, it's a survival event! Basic food will be provided on Thursday night for those arriving early, but we recommend bringing something to cook on the fire. This event is designed to be terrifying and as immersive as possible, as such there is an age limit of 18. No drink/drugs are allowed on site, however alchohol may be consumed responsibly if arriving early on Thursday.

NB: There is a higher focus on the survival element compared to the previous event, as well as a higher focus on a more complex plot this year.

EARLY BOOKING DEAL
Book your ticket before halloween and arrive early (Thursday 24th) for free!!! Thursday evening will be spent cooking around an open fire with a couple of beers (if you bring them yourself!) and will be an excellent opportunity to meet the other players, particularly if you intend to come alone. Alchohol will not be permitted between Friday and Sunday however, sorry!

NB: There is a £10 discount available upon request for students and those who are unemployed. 100% Refunds are also available on request up until 2 months before the event. A 50% refund is then available until 1 month before the event at which point tickets are non-refundable. We apologise for any inconvenience! A minimum of a £20 deposit is required

LOCATION
Candleston is an above ground venue, spanning over 100acres of woodland and adjoining the 900 acre Merthyr Mawr Warren National Nature Reserve, right by the beach. Also featured is Candleston Castle; an atmospheric, ruined 14th century fortified manor house with a large walled courtyard.

Located 20 miles west of Cardiff, and south of Bridgend in Glamorgan, South Wales; 5 miles from J35 of the M4, and 2.5 miles from the main line railway at Bridgend. For those travelling from Reading, a single train ticket to Bridgend is £16 if booked in advance

We understand that it does not have quite the same cool factor as Drakelow Tunnels, but this site does feature a fort, yurts and a fighting pit amongst many other features, and we have some amazing things planned for you this year!
