The dark clouds gather overhead, the Storm grows.
From the center of the tempest, the Raptors host.
Behind the gates of mundanity, Colour roils and turns.
Ancient artifacts come to light, statues and tools peel off dusty skins.
Huge ideas build on the horizons, inevitable rays of peace.
The River teems, banks splitting with Silver light above,
Dark shadows spread below, aching, spreading.
The disease has been antagonized, the blemish spreading,
The Pillars and Ministry have been thrown as fodder, foolishly.
You have invited the monsters to feast.
Armies gather; Knights and Believers below, the Below above.
War is coming.
There are still allies to be made,
Unions to be forged, Sacrifices to be lost.
Patrons demand bloodshed.
The light of the Parliament, wounded, fades.
Nothing Lasts Forever.
