The Tempest is coming.
The Sound of thunder marches on like jackboots on protesting faces, trumping ever nearer.

Now are the calm, the dark years before the light of explosions.

The Colleges of the Mourning Veil step up, not the Ministry of Truth, to host the Parliament in the Great Shade.
But around you, darkness closes in.
A Great Depression. A time for worry and reflection. For countries to rise and fall.
As do the Coteries. The Wavefarers are scattered, the River pulses with change, the Storm spreads wider.

Scientists and Politicians argue for a chance to be heard, between the Lightning Strikes.

It is the Dreaming Years 1930 to 34.
It is almost time to hatch.
