Dumnonni Chronicles is system with a strong look and feel evoking Pagan Dark Age Mythology. We have Celts, Tuatha, Fir Bolg, Fomor and invading Romans, Saxons and Norse Vikings. If that wasn't enough it is world dominated by Fae Wyrd. Photos can be seen on our website.

Our Crew are invited to WAGE WAR in SIMPLE LOW-RULES COMBAT encounters with LARP safe weapons which range from honour-duels to hazel-fields to besieging our PERMANENT FORT with Round-house and Longhall. There are lots of NPC ROLES to give us plenty of politics to require war with an emphasis of entering a heroic honour-based mindset. We also encourage Crew to design their own evening characters based on some loose plot briefs to bring out their own creativity. Ever wanted to feel like you are living in a film-world without cameras- this is it.

CREW FOR FREE

We are a medium/small and Friendly system. We have been running for over 30 years and have been investing in crew kit for the entire time. We can offer CREW FREE USE of our extensive WEAPONS, SOFT KIT, ARMOUR, MAKE UP and SPECIAL EFFECTS. Our reputation for high kit standards comes a lot from our crew kit store. Whether you are a Veteran LARPer or would like to give it a go for the first time, we welcome you to our game. There is plenty to do, whatever you skill level. Dumnonni is a great introduction to LARP with links to several other systems across the South West. It also attracts professional thespians, Nordic-Larpers and HEMA practitioners who enjoy the deep role-play potential of the setting.

Nestled in stunning Rural Devon, our site can be accessed by car (parking available) and we often do runs from the local bus stop (Exbourne) and train stations (Okehampton or Exeter, Devon) but please message in the Facebook group to arrange times etc. In fact all you really need is yourself, camping gear, plenty of water and a smile.
