The High Frontier Universe is set in the worlds of the “Alien”, “Predator” and other film franchises. We have written up a shared background incorporating these movies and TV series that share common themes and imagery to add more depth and variety.

This is the third and final game in this series, but you don’t need to have played the others. The games have focused on themes of First Contact in the High Frontier and are broadly inspired by events in the movie Prometheus. Corruption and self-interest have lead to conflict over which faction of Humanity will be at the forefront in dealing with Intelligent Extra-terrestrials (the 'Engineers') that might seem like Gods to us.

This LARP is primarily PvE (Player vs Environment) as opposed to PvP (Player vs Player). There may be some inter-group strife to resolve but the game is written to be primarily collaborative in nature. How this plays out is down to the players. The group will consist of both a military and civilian scientific contingent even though this is predominantly a scientific mission of potential discovery. There may also be some mild sci-fi horror and some jump scares (in keeping with the films the High Frontier is based on). It'll be a mix of problem solving and tactical mil-sim ranged combat using the UKLTA's safe and proven outdoor Laser-Tag technology.

We will loan you Laser-Tag equipment for a small deposit if you're new to our games.
