Description

First Light is an outdoor LARP for 40-50 players.
There is ample camping space for both OC and IC tents and 10 bunks available for accessibility needs.

In First Light, you play as a Faerie in a medieval/arthurian fantasy setting.
You are a Faerie, a survivor of an apocalypse in the Faerie world of Vaelora. You and the other players have survived the apocalypse by falling through the sky into the human world known as Azure.

The first game takes place a few weeks after the first Faeries are settled. The game is player-led, and will follow the stories of the player base navigating this new world and uncovering its secrets. Through combat, magic and politics, players are armed with the means to change this new world…

Or maybe find a way back to their old one.

Themes: Diaspora, Exploration, Community, Loss, Found family, Hope

Our Goal!
We are looking to give players the chance to be a part of a faerie society and feel supported by the narrative in their efforts of communal story telling. We want to build a sense of wonder, joy and peril through our encounters and give weight and consequence to the actions of individual players. In some of the themes of First Light we find heavier subjects that we look to handle and explore with delicate care.
