UKLTA's first event of 2025 is Dropzone, 23-26 May at The Grange nr. Coventry.

Unusually for UK 'outdoor' LARP this is an anthology event consisting of multiple shorter games. You can dip in and out of them as you wish. Normally we hope those not playing a 'slot' will crew but you don't have to.

- Friday Eve - "Risk: The Fight for World Domination". It's hard to be sure what time people will arrive so we run a team skirmish game. Expect glowsticks, running around in the dusk and ambushes.

- Saturday AM - "Hellgate: Starside". A game of modern horror/world hopping adventure in Brian Lumley's Necroscope setting. Continuing on from events at Dropzone 2024 the players will find themselves in a strange new world.

- Saturday PM - "U.N.I.T Code Red". This will be action military/science adventure in the Whoniverse. Following an apparent UFO landing you are being sent into investigate the large 'dead zone' that has appeared. You are the second team to go in...

- Saturday Eve - British civil service & military bureaucracy meets the occult, inspired by the Laundry Files works of Charles Stross. In "The Crows of Blake Farm" you've been called in to find some children missing in the woods. Nothing suspicious about that at all, nope.

- Sunday AM - A three part action military/science adventure in the Stargate SG1 universe draws to a close with "Stargate: The Planet of Ptah". The SGC must raid a System Lord base but also beware a potential Replicator infestation.

- Sunday PM & Eve - "Cyberpunk: A Life on the Edge game #7". Our ongoing 'campaign' in the dystopian dark future riffing on the computer and tabletop game with some new elements.

We're a long established club but actively looking to fit new people in, providing loan Laser-Tag equipment to them. Dropzone makes a great introduction to what we do.

The 'event guide' is still in draft but holds most of the pertinent information on the games.
