Foi (Fields Of Illusion) is a family friendly LARP (Live Action Role Play) organisation who currently holding twice yearly events (end of May, beginning of August) outside in Winkleigh, Devon UK. Besides those Foi is also organising an 18+ event around October (hopefully yearly as well, location TBC.

At the moment FOI has between 50-150 participants each event with room for lots more! Due to its setup we have participants not only from the South West but also from areas as far as Manchester and Greater London!

The theme is based on a frontier outpost near a (NPC) village, with at the moment groups (factions) of Elves, Drow, Orcs, Catlike humanoids as well as various groups of "real" humans (Knights, cut-throats, mages).

All players/characters are welcome but realise that the time period is only just up to very early gun powder weapons (very expensive and unreliable within our system).

There are various plotlines that are carrying through the events as well as short plots (for various age groups as well). So the players can participate as much/little as they want without losing out on "the action".
